How do I clean my shade?
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]When washing, DO NOT use any cleaning products containing bleach.
- Remove the fabric vanes from the carrier.
- Fold the fabric and put it in a laundry bag before putting it in the washing machine.
- Wash on a cold water gentle cycle. We cannot stress this enough: when washing, DO NOT use any cleaning products containing bleach. Don’t use a spin cycle after wash.
- Take the fabric out. Line dry the vanes until damp before reassembling them onto the headrail.
- Reassemble the vanes onto the headrail and leave them open to dry. This helps to prevent wrinkles.
If ironing, the woven bands on top of the fabric vanes may raise slightly during washing.
